The company partners with tertiary education facilities, like the North-West University (NWU), to offer employees courses in a variety of subjects, like finances, food safety, time management, first aid and many more.
Completed the course
The eight successful candidates were presented with certificates on Thursday (24 November 2022) by Benedict Modise (director of Economic Development at NWK).
Here are their results:
- Pieter Coetzee (regional manager at NWK Retail) – 75% and four distinctions;
- Japie Snyman (accountant: Creditors) – 75% and three distinctions (absent during the event);
- Francois Retief (manager of system development at IT) – 73% and four distinctions;
- Japie Nieuwoudt (product manager at NWK Retail) – 72% and four distinctions;
- Maree Boshoff (regional manager at NWK Retail) – 72% and three distinctions;
- Leonardt Thaphathi (manager of transformation and development at Agricultural Management Services) – 70% and two distinctions
- Jaco Havenga (manager of Midchem) – 69% and two distinctions;
- Aubrey Moloto (store manager of NWK Retail Madibogo) – 66% and two distinctions
- Skumbuzo Hleza (production manager at Epko) – 66% and one distinction
Top achiever in this group, Pieter Coetzee, said that this programme has enabled him to look at certain business aspects differently and achieve better results.
